Who are we?
Cornish Heritage Farms is a family owned business run by Richard and Liz Pomeroy. The business started as a fairly simple eBay store, selling other manufacturer's rubber stamps and accessories, and grew! In May 2005 we opened this online store to provide you an even greater source of high quality Rubber Stamps and supplies. In 2005 Cornish Heritage Farms purchased Cat Dancing Design, one of the older rubber stamp companies and also SonLight Impressions, again an older, but more established stamp company. That was the start of, what today has become, a rapidly growing rubber stamp manufacturing business that now incorporates a wide range of licensed art as well as frequent releases of original art drawn by our many great artists. We continue to carry a wide selection of rubber stamping, scrapbooking & craft supplies so that you can conveniently shop in one place. Cornish Heritage Farms is a 'Full Service' online store and prides itself on 'old fashioned' customer service, brought to you on 'bang-up-to-date' technology! You can shop for those hard to find craft items right from your own living room or wherever you have access to the internet. If we don't have what you are looking for, let us know and we'll see what we can do about it! If you prefer to speak to someone rather than ordering over the internet then just give us a call for free. Our Policy We strive to provide our customers with what they want, great prices and great service. Because we are the manufacturer of the stamps we sell, we are able to set our own prices and standards for these items. We manufacture our stamps right here in the USA on the farm using high quality products from USA suppliers. Our engravers manufacture deep etched magnesium plates which are then pressed into high quality, 'extra thick' (and twice as expensive!) matrix board (used to actually mould the rubber) to ensure that the resulting rubber is deep. We do all this to ensure that our product is among the best on the market, but we still keep our prices as low as possible to give you the best value for money. We DO NOT COPY other manufacturer's images. We are, however, happy to work with our customers when they suggest an idea for a new stamp. We may or may not take on the idea, but when we do we always use original art and never copy anyone else's design. If our finished product looks like someone else's then that is purely coincidental, or simply because what was asked for can't really look like anything else! Some History After our move to Big Sky Country (Montana), Liz started going to a few auctions and got "Hooked!" We opened our eBay store in May 2004 and decided later that year to specialize in craft products, especially rubber stamps. The web site you are currently viewing is simply a natural progression & will continue to develop as time goes on. Why Cornish Heritage Farms? We are originally from Cornwall in England (our 'Cornish Heritage'). We moved to the USA in 1997 and have never looked back. Finally in August 2003 we found "home" - 110 acres on the Milk River in northern Montana. We all love it. The Family We have four children - two teenagers (one graduated and one still in homeschool), a pre-schooler and an infant. We are currently in the process of adopting our 5th child. (For those of you who have done that you will appreciate how much paperwork there is!) This will be our 3rd adoption. Our oldest daughter raises pygmy goats, our eldest son raises pigs and milks our cows, our little guy loves to be out and about on the farm and the littlest one just keeps us all busy! We also have Boer goats, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, cats, lambs and five dogs, so as you can imagine there is never a dull moment! Roxy, our St. Bernard, has become our company mascot. That's why you see her image all over our site. We are so grateful to God who has blessed us with this wonderful life and surroundings. We have a beautiful family and a great place to live where we can truly enjoy HIS creation. |
